Dementia & Grief Support

When dementia changes the path ahead, individuals and families may begin grieving long before a death occurs. There can be uncertainty, changing roles, difficult decisions, and the ongoing experience of loving someone who may feel both present and changed.

A Peaceful Presence offers calm, compassionate, non-medical support for individuals living with dementia, their loved ones, and caregivers. I meet you where you are, listen without judgment, and help create space for what matters most.

How I Can Support You

• A listening presence for fears, questions, and difficult emotions

• Support with anticipatory grief and ambiguous loss

• Encouragement and practical guidance for family caregivers

• Help preparing for meaningful conversations and changing needs

• Legacy, remembrance, and meaning-centered activities

• Spiritual support and prayer when welcomed

• Connection to appropriate professional and community resources

Support Alongside Your Care Team

My role is to offer an additional layer of presence and support. I work alongside—not in place of—medical providers, hospice teams, social workers, mental-health professionals, clergy, and other members of your care team.

You Don’t Have to Carry This Alone

If dementia or grief is affecting you or someone you love, we can begin with a complimentary 30-minute Connection Call to talk about what you are navigating and what support might feel helpful.
